Dancing Queen - Rameau meets ABBA

Lautten Compagney Berlin and saxophonist Asya Fateyeva blend ABBA songs with compositions by Jean-Philippe Rameau (1683-1764). Bo Wiget has arranged ABBA's music for a Baroque ensemble; the pieces from both worlds are so intricately woven together that on first hearing it is often hard to tell immediately who the composer is.

Asaya Fateyeva moves across the saxophone between sound worlds - with lightning-fast runs as well as lyrical, singing arias. For their joint album "Dancing Queen", Lautten Compagney and Asya Fateyeva were awarded the Opus Klassik 2025 prize as best ensemble.
