ROLAND JANKOWSKY - Es wird Tote geben - Overbeck reloaded. Die Lesung
Bürgerhaus Klostergarten, Creuzburg, Germany
28.5 €
Roland Jankowsky is well known to TV audiences, above all as Commissioner Overbeck in the ZDF crime series "Wilsberg". He also works as a stage actor, chansonnier, radio presenter and radio-play performer.
At this reading he performs selected "criminal" short stories - while his "alter ego" Overbeck takes an uninvited seat at the reading table: commenting, gesturing, cutting in. A subtle interplay develops between reader and actor that sets the evening well apart from a straightforward text recital.
The press says: "The voice clear and precise, made for an audiobook. Local colour through accents, a few small, elegant gestures that underline the humour." (Gießener Allgemeine) - "Even brutal scenes get big laughs... He doesn't just read them, he acts them out on stage and fully embodies the characters." (Trierischer Volksfreund)
In 2018, viewers voted Roland Jankowsky "Germany's Coolest TV Detective".
