Weimarer Kabarett - Goethe Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten

Peace reigns over all the peaks…? Not a chance! At Weimarer Kabarett, it's anything but quiet: here audiences laugh themselves silly over Faust I and Faust II. Bernard Liebermann and Thierry Gelloz are to blame: in a colourful, musical and hilarious evening, they trace the footsteps of the secret councillor Goethe. And they dare to compare his era with today.

One thing's clear: everything was better back then. In those days, today was still tomorrow and yesterday was today - unimaginable now! Weimarer Kabarett poses the important questions: Who is the modern Goethe? Why did the secret councillor fall on deaf ears with Beethoven? What would impress the prince of poets more today - the artificial intelligence of machines or the natural stupidity of our fellow humans?

Two verbal acrobats, Liebermann and Gelloz, tie their tongues in knots and strain the laugh muscles: Weimar with wit, cabaret with classics, Goethe with gags. Spotlights on - or as Goethe said: "More light"!
