Luka Sestak Trio - Grünstadter Sternstunden

Luca Sestak is a remarkable talent: the young pianist and composer has already built an impressive career - from prizes at Jugend musiziert to productions with Sony Music Germany, studies at the Popakademie Mannheim, and his own releases recorded with his bandmates.

On his new album "Lighter Notes", Luca shows how Chopin can get funky and Bach can hold his own in a jazz club. His original compositions draw new sounds and rhythms from the piano - partly through the use of tape or felt to prepare the instrument.
