Midsummer - those days when the light simply refuses to fade. The programme "Midsummer Poem" explores that suspended state between abundance and quiet melancholy. Stefanie Boltz weaves together songs like "Everybody Loves the Sunshine", "Summertime Sadness", "Sitting on the Dock of a Bay" and "Watermelon Man" with summer poetry by Hesse and Rilke. Together with cellist Nenad Uskokovic, she creates finely layered soundscapes for voice, cello and electronics - sometimes groove-driven, sometimes fragile and still.
