Knabenchor Dresden and ensembles from the Heinrich Schütz Conservatory in Dresden present "Schütz_Junior!" on Thursday, 8 October 2026 at 19:00 in Dreikönigskirche. Young musicians perform early music-from Bach to Schütz-as part of the Heinrich Schütz Musikfest. This is one of two German dates on the ensemble's tour. The boys' choir, Ensemble für Alte Musik, and Gambenconsort demonstrate how vital and relevant music from the past can be. Admission: 8 €.

About the venue: Dreikönigskirche

The Dreikönigskirche (Church of the Three Kings) is a baroque Protestant church on the Hauptstraße in Dresden's Neustadt district, built in the early 18th century. Its interior houses a rare late-Gothic Dance of Death frieze salvaged from an earlier building. Today the church serves as a cultural venue alongside regular worship, hosting concerts, readings and public events.
