At "Schütz_Junior!", the stage belongs to the next generation: as part of the Heinrich Schütz Musikfest, students of the Heinrich-Schütz-Konservatorium Dresden show just how vibrant and relevant early music can be today.

The Knabenchor Dresden, the Ensemble für Alte Musik, and the Gambenconsort of the conservatory will perform instrumental and vocal works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Andreas Hammerschmidt, and Heinrich Schütz.

The event is organized in cooperation with the Eigenbetrieb Heinrich-Schütz-Konservatorium of the city of Dresden.

About the venue: Dreikönigskirche

The Dreikönigskirche (Church of the Three Kings) is a baroque Protestant church on the Hauptstraße in Dresden's Neustadt district, built in the early 18th century. Its interior houses a rare late-Gothic Dance of Death frieze salvaged from an earlier building. Today the church serves as a cultural venue alongside regular worship, hosting concerts, readings and public events.
