Roland Jankowsky - When Overbeck Comes...

Most people know Roland Jankowsky as the slightly eccentric Commissioner Overbeck from the cult crime series "Wilsberg". In this signature role, the "Dirty Harry of Münster" was voted "Germany's Coolest Commissioner" by TV audiences in 2018. But Jankowsky is a man of many talents - as a TV and stage actor, singer, and audiobook narrator - and his comedic flair is unmistakably his trademark.

In his crime reading show "When Overbeck Comes...", he gets to put all of that to full use. The "criminal" short stories he performs come alive through spot-on regional dialects, and he inhabits each character so vividly that the audience can practically see them standing there.
