Sprechpause

Frieda and the women of her group spend seven days at a hostel - in complete silence! A silent retreat meant for inner meditation becomes a test of nerves for Frieda. Already the overly healthy breakfast with goat cheese and mysterious "seed mixture" raises eyebrows. When loud stomach sounds shatter the silence during meditation, concentration becomes impossible.

Meanwhile, the husbands stayed behind. Wichbert, stripped of his driver's license after a "two-component driving error", yearns to bring more mobility into the house - even if it means laying hands on the nativity scene.

Viola, on the other hand, organizes a steamy evening inspired by "Fifty Shades of Grey" to surprise Frieda and her unsuspecting friends. Frieda approaches the theme of eroticism with her characteristic blend of curiosity, embarrassment, and indignation.

"Sprechpause" is an entertaining and varied tour through everyday situations - from big feet and vacuum robots, through men seized by renovation fever, to women caught in the grip of clever saleswomen.
