The year is 2070. The stage sets are still standing, but the theatre has long since shut down. The acting ensemble now uses the building as a retirement home. The elderly actors have grown old together, know each other's quirks and habits, and love to reminisce about the glorious highlights of their stage careers. The only one who disturbs the peace is Sister Rosa - pestering her charges with children's songs and clapping, or dampening the mood with lectures on illness and death. The moment Rosa leaves the room, though, the flirting, singing and dancing begin, set to timeless hits like "I Love 'n' Roll", Maffay's "So bist Du", and "Born to be wild".
