The Wolf & the 7 Little Goats - Interactive Theatre - Open Air (Schloss Hubertus) — Gasthof Schloss Hubertus, Erfurt

Before heading out to do the shopping, the mother goat warns her kids: let no one in. When the big bad wolf arrives at the house, the little ones are alone. He tries every trick he can think of to fool them - and eventually succeeds. He gobbles up all the kids except one. Together with the smallest goat, the mother finally rescues her whole family. They stuff the wolf's belly with heavy stones. When he wakes up, the stones rumble and roll inside him. Overcome by a terrible thirst, he runs to the well - and falls in to his death.

What makes this interactive fairy-tale theatre special is that a single actor tells the story through movement and dance, slipping in and out of all the different characters. Children don't just watch - they can call out their ideas and thoughts to the actor on stage, who weaves them spontaneously into the story. At many points the children can even come up on stage and play a part themselves! The result is a lively, one-of-a-kind performance between the storyteller and the audience.

This is a production for the whole family by Johannes Galli, with music composed especially for the show by Johannes Galli and Michael Summ. A CD featuring all the fairy-tale songs from the production (including playback versions and lyrics) is available at the theatre.
