The Frog Prince - Interactive Fairy Tale Theatre - Open Air Performance (Schloss Hubertus)

A princess loses her golden ball. A frog demands a promise to retrieve it for her. She must learn to keep her word and overcome her fear. Through determination, she can transform the disgusting frog into a prince.

What makes participatory theatre special is that an actor tells the fairy tale playfully and dynamically, embodying various fairy tale characters and roles. Children don't just listen to the story with rapt attention-they actively participate. They can call out their thoughts and ideas to the actor on stage, who spontaneously weaves these impulses into the narrative. Moreover, children can perform on stage themselves at many points! This creates an interactive and unique theatrical experience between the narrator and the audience.
