3. Komische Nacht Geestland

Komische Nacht is one of Germany's most successful live comedy formats. Across the finest cafes, restaurants and venues in a single city, you get a lively and relaxed evening with a lineup of comedians, cabaret artists and other performers. No two Komische Nacht events are alike.

The format offers a colourful snapshot of Germany's current comedy scene. At each venue, up to 5 comedians perform for around 20 minutes each over the course of the evening. The clever twist: you don't have to wander from place to place to catch different acts. Just buy one ticket for your venue of choice and several performers are brought to you. It's the comedians who travel between locations - off one stage and straight onto the next. A genuine comedy marathon for performers and audience alike.

Whether it's a restaurant or a student pub, a cultural centre or a hair salon, a cinema hall or a cocktail bar - the venues of Komische Nacht are as varied as the comedians who play them. One thing stays constant everywhere: the laughs come first. And since laughing alone is fine but can look a bit odd, it's best to come with friends, colleagues or - depending on your sense of humour - the in-laws. Together you can laugh, eat and drink well, and still have plenty of time in the breaks between sets to catch up properly.

The first Komische Nacht took place in 2008 in the centre of Oldenburg. Today this comedy marathon runs regularly in over 40 German cities, including Bielefeld, Frankfurt, Hannover, Kassel, Lübeck, Münster and Oldenburg.
