Oberkrainer from Begunje - The Oberkrainers Are Coming!

Die Oberkrainer z Begunje perform at Hildburghausen's Stadttheater Hildburghausen on Sunday, 11 October 2026 at 15:00. This is one of two German dates for the ensemble this year. The classic Oberkrainer quintet with vocal duo plays the most celebrated works from Slavko Avsenika's repertoire-the inventor of Oberkrainer music-alongside their own compositions. Led by Nici Legat, a musician who performed alongside Slavko Avsenika himself, the ensemble brings authentic Alpine folk tradition to Germany.
