Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado (DK)

Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado have been one of Denmark's premier blues-rock acts for over two decades. More than 1,400 concerts across 23 countries have built them a reputation well beyond Scandinavia - Chicago blues, rock'n'roll, boogie and soul, driven by Risager's raw voice, Svensmark's guitar, and a tight rhythm and horn section.

In 2023 they took home Danish Music Awards for "Best Blues Release" and "Best Live Band"; they have shared stages with Bonnie Raitt, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Buddy Guy and Robben Ford. Over 70,000 albums sold, 30 million streams and 180,000 monthly Spotify listeners round out the picture.

They arrive in Flensburg with their new album "House of Sticks" - and a live album set to follow in 2026. The show takes place in the courtyard of Flensborghus.
