Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado have been one of Denmark's premier blues-rock acts for over two decades and are now among the most in-demand live bands in Europe. More than 1,400 concerts across 23 countries have earned them a reputation for explosive shows where Chicago blues, rock'n'roll, boogie and soul collide into one relentless surge of energy.

Risager's raw, gritty voice, Svensmark's virtuoso guitar work and a tight rhythm section with horns make it near impossible for the audience to stand still. Winners of the Danish Music Awards for "Best Blues Release" and "Best Live Band" in 2023, they regularly share the stage with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Buddy Guy and Robben Ford.
