This poetry slam series runs four times a year - autumn, winter, spring, and summer - delivering a lively and varied evening each time.

A poetry slam night takes the audience into the realm of wild words, with performers bringing wildly different content to the stage. All texts must be self-written, the seven-minute time limit is strictly enforced, and no technical aids are allowed. Within those rules, the slam poets pull out every trick to win the crowd over. Somewhere between poetry and punk, between metre and prose - no two slams are alike.

The audience serves as the jury, deciding the winner by the volume of their applause. Above all, it's about the joy of performance and a love of language.

The evening is hosted by Ansgar Hufnagel, who brings a healthy dose of humour and wit to the proceedings.
