Sir Barnabas Edwarson was murdered at his birthday dinner. That much is certain. Yet the police of this small county have been unable to solve the crime, despite hot leads.

Exactly one year later, the most renowned detectives gather to finally crack the case. The mystery deepens: Sir Barnabas Edwarson had invited these very detectives to his birthday celebration a year ago. Did he somehow foresee his own death and believe only top-tier detectives could solve it? Did he leave behind clues pointing to the murderer? Or are there far darker reasons at play?

The evening takes an even more absurd turn when Sir Barnabas Edwarson suddenly appears in person. But he was murdered a year ago! Is someone playing a macabre game?
