Anders - "So kurz davor"

Anders are Germany's a cappella poets: catchy melodies, intelligent lyrics, clever pop songs in German - all without instruments. The group has already performed as support for Revolverheld and Thees Uhlmann.

The Freiburg ensemble boasts an impressive list of awards: winners of St. Ingberter Pfanne 2020 (audience prize and special award from the Minister of Culture), 1st prize at Vokal.total Festival Graz 2019 (POP category), jury and audience award at SoLaLa A-Cappella Festival Solingen 2019, CARA Award 2019 for best European a cappella album "Viel Lärm um dich", 1st prize at Aarhus Vocal Festival 2024, and the support prize of the Kleinkunstpreis Baden-Württemberg 2024.

With their programme "So kurz davor", the five singers focus on those moments when everything is at stake - taking the first kiss, jumping off the 10-metre board, telling the boss what you think. Humorous, melancholic, philosophically questioning and self-assured, they sing about life in all its facets. The programme title is less a self-description than a promise.
