Years ago, a young woman ventured into the Brazilian rainforest and never returned. Now she suddenly reappears.
All three former detectives find themselves connected to her return - each by a different route. Each draws his own conclusions, and sooner or later their paths cross.
The old friends must now confront not only the mystery, but also their own pasts and the friendship that once bound them.
