Renner "Never Ending Story"

Two brothers and a kindred spirit: the Renner trio - Moritz Renner (trombone), Tabea Kind (bass) and Valentin Renner (drums) - is a line-up that rarely appears in jazz history.

Without a harmony instrument, unusual sonic spaces open up, and the three make excellent use of them. Their interplay produces a balance of freedom and precision that many long-established bands have never managed - carried by gripping solos, atmospheric compositions and an ease that reflects just how close these three instrumentalists are.
