The Stadtpark - Fürth's Best-Kept Secret

The people of Fürth know it well and love it dearly - for strolling, jogging, or simply unwinding: their Stadtpark. The history of this beautiful park is surprisingly eventful. What was once a cemetery beside the Auferstehungskirche was gradually transformed into a park, taking on its current form in 1951 during a horticultural show.

Hans Schiller, the city's parks director at the time, would surely be pleased to see that "his" park remains a green retreat where people can restore their spirits to this day.
