ES ISCH WIES ISCH - Marianne Schätzle - Comedy

She is the new word-of-mouth tip for humour from the Swabian heartland. Audiences know her from carnival shows on SWR Fernsehen and Bayerisches Fernsehen. An evening with Marianne Schätzle means genuine, hearty laughter.
Her new show "ES ISCH WIES ISCH" (It Is What It Is) tackles down-to-earth humour, getting older, the modern zeitgeist and the madness of everyday life. She asks, for instance, whether men who can grill really know how to cook. And she wonders what on earth you do when nobody wants to train as a tradesperson anymore. Who do you call when the tap drips - a water bachelor or a water engineer? And what do you become without a school-leaving certificate - a craftsman or a politician?
Schätzle sets the record straight and champions common sense. She looks at life from the outside, but from right in the middle of it. She is best known for her legendary Angela Merkel impression, which aired on several TV channels. She has won the Metzinger Kabarettpreis and the Schnellertshamer Heugabel award. Cabaret at a high level - and a little below.
