Sorry About Your Daughter - special guest: Ape Shifter

Emerging from the alternative rock and post-hardcore wave of the early 1990s in Washington, D.C., Sorry About Your Daughter earned their reputation through relentless touring, incisive songwriting, and deep roots in the independent music scene.

Their debut album "Aquarium Center" (1994) was initially released independently before being reissued in Germany by Edel/Marlboro Music. The follow-up "Face" (1996) brought international attention via MTV Europe and MuchMusic. Both albums feature fan favorites like "You Gave Up" and "Scapegoat".

SAYD built their name through college shows, club tours across Europe, and underground gigs in North America. Their high-energy performances established them in the mid-90s as a defining band of the scene. After breaking up in 1997, they returned in 2019 for a sold-out show at The Soundry in Columbia, Maryland.

With renewed energy, they are now writing new material and heading out on tour in summer 2026.
