Daumesdick
Hessenschanze Endstation, Kassel, Germany
The tiniest hero from the Brothers Grimm sets out into the wide world, outwitting everyone with cunning and a good measure of luck. Despite his "size", he manages to steer a horse-drawn cart and even gets spotted by a circus.
At the heart of the show is the incredible story of Farmer Anton and a rather confused cow. Ever since Daumesdick ended up inside the cow Berta's stomach, she has done nothing but go "Meeeh, meeh" - and on top of that, she now lays eggs. The only remedy is to tell the whole story again from the very beginning.
Farmer Anton is just the man for the job: he has a knack for stories, tiny people, and bewildered cows. Based on the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, for children aged 5 and up.
