Opening show: Berta Epple - Exclusive sneak preview of the new programme "Klar Schiff!"
World music with a comic twist

The meadow of the Einhaldenfestival is a kind of green haven for the well-travelled musicians of Berta Epple. Perhaps that's why the crew - consisting of Bobbi Fischer, Veit and Gregor Hübner - is revealing their new programme for the first time right here. The audience gets a peek through the keyhole at a show that no one has seen before.

What awaits us this evening? Something seems amiss. Berta Epple, the beloved music "pleasure boat", is listing. After years on the road, the three friends are increasingly getting on each other's nerves. Eventually, the mood collapses before the audience's eyes. Director Titus Selge tries to smooth things over and suggests couple's therapy for three. In the process, everything that has been simmering beneath the surface comes to light.

Fortunately, friendship wins out in the end: the three lighthearted sailors clear the decks with "Klar Schiff!" and continue their musical journey around the globe.

Cast: Bobbi Fischer (1st tenor, piano, percussion), Veit Hübner (2nd tenor, double bass), Gregor Hübner (baritone, violin, piano)

The multi-award-winning artist shows us: life as a whole is a dance that, surprisingly, can be mastered while sober and without major bouts of madness. Sometimes impishly witty, sometimes roaringly funny, direct and crude, then again...
