Ralf Schmid & Soil Music Collective: Organic Music

The Saturday evening kicks off with a journey downward - beneath the surface of the earth. Pianist and composer Ralf Schmid first played at the open-air on the Einhalden farm back in 2004 and has been closely tied to the Einhaldenfestival ever since. This time he brings a project that fits the festival's founding spirit perfectly: the Soil Music Collective explores the connection between culture and agriculture - and above all the soil that sustains and unites us all.

What does the ground beneath our feet sound like? What is the soundtrack of our common ground? Ralf Schmid and the Soil Music Collective go deep, drawing out music that grounds, connects and lifts. Moving between meditative soundscapes, organic grooves and danceable beats, the set builds into a compelling sonic experience - open, moving and full of possibility.

Line-up: Ralf Schmid (keyboards, composition), Beatriz Picas (vocals, cello), Lino Schmid (vocals, guitar, bass), Tobias Herzog (trombone, tuba, sousaphone), Murat Coşkun (vocals, percussion), Torsten Krill (drums)

Toni & Max Uthoff: Einer zuviel

40 years apart. Gen X and Gen Z. An experiment: on an open-air stage with no escape route, two cynics from different generations and different gender identities (father and daughter) face off to settle the most pressing questions of our time - under the expert observation of the Einhaldenfestival audience. Who takes out the rubbish on this planet? Which came first: the egg or the McChicken? What is easier to prevent - children or climate change? How do you get rid of an old white man when he pays the rent? How do you explain the existence of the FDP to the younger generation? And the difference between LGBTQ and BLT to the older one?

In hope of radical agreement.
