The PIANALE Piano Festival - Fulda beflügelt - is a fixture of cultural life in Fulda and the surrounding region. Over two festival weeks, from 21 July to 4 August, piano enthusiasts and concert-goers can attend 11 concerts held in historic castles and venues of unique character in and around Fulda.

The concert series is shaped by up to 34 selected young pianists from around the world. They gather for the 19th Pianale International Academy & Competition in Fulda, receive tuition from 7 internationally renowned piano professors, and compete for places in the semi-final and final during the festival.
