Das Kriminal Dinner "Sherlock Holmes and the Poisoned Maultäschle Soup" - a delicious three-course menu in stylish surroundings, framed by a thrilling criminal mystery at the Hotel Restaurant Goldener Adler in Schwäbisch Hall.
"Sherlock Holmes and the Poisoned Maultäschle Soup"
Yes, you read that correctly - the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and my humble servant Dr. Watson have found themselves in the Swabian region. Admittedly, not entirely by choice. But our genius could hardly refuse an invitation from an old acquaintance, the Baroness von Zuckerberg, to a gala dinner. So we dine in the adjoining room of the restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious three-course menu this evening.
Fleeing from his chatty table neighbour, the endlessly talkative Baroness, the detective barely misses the alleged murder of the host's husband, Baron von Zuckerberg.
True, his health was no longer in the best condition. But to suddenly topple into maultäschle soup is hardly the gentlemanly way to die, even in Swabia. For Sherlock Holmes, however, the hitherto deadly boring evening is saved.
A crime awaits, an extremely puzzling case at that, for the investigation results seemingly rule out any poisoning. The interrogation of witnesses, the medical examiner, and some of the dinner guests makes many innocent people in the room appear suspicious.
With enthusiasm and in good spirits, the famous detective sets his little grey cells to work. Already "Swabian cunning" spreads, but no false builder can fool the master. For him, the solution to the case soon becomes clear. As always, he lets us grope in the dark for a while before brilliantly exposing the murderer.
But perhaps you too will soon have the solution, for you also have a say this evening.
