160 Years of the Cottbus - Berlin Railway Line! - Anniversary Steam Train!

On 13 September 1866, the first regular train departed between Berlin and Cottbus. 160 years later, steam locomotive 01 1104 runs the same route as a special anniversary train.

Outbound journey around 11:10: Cottbus - Kolkwitz - Vetschau (Spreewald) - Lübbenau (Spreewald) - Lübben (Spreewald) - Halbe - Groß Köris - Königs Wusterhausen - Berlin Ostkreuz (no boarding) - Berlin Lichtenberg

Return journey around 14:30: Berlin Lichtenberg - Königs Wusterhausen - Groß Köris - Halbe - Lübben (Spreewald) - Lübbenau (Spreewald) - Vetschau (Spreewald) - Kolkwitz - Cottbus

On board you will find live music, children's craft activities, and wine tasting. During longer stops, activities are also available on the platform. The buffet car serves hearty meals and drinks at reasonable prices, including beer from Landskron BRAU-MANUFAKTUR Görlitz, mineral water, and Bauer fruit juices from Bad Liebenwerda. Since proceeds from on-board sales support vehicle maintenance, please do not bring your own food and drinks.
