German guitar legend Siggi Schwarz has been touring successfully since 2015 with his crossover project "Rock meets Classic" alongside renowned philharmonic orchestras across Germany. He has performed over 70 concerts throughout the country.
Schwarz released albums in 2015 and 2017 with the Ulm Philharmonic, which were released worldwide by Sony Music. Guest artists on these recordings included Bobby Kimball, vocalist of Toto, and Chris Thompson, the voice behind Manfred Mann's Earthband hits.
The programme for 21 November 2026 at Walter-Schmid-Halle in Giengen features highlights of rock history: "Don't Stop Believin'", "Rock You Like a Hurricane", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Jump", "Stairway to Heaven", "Hotel California", "Blinded by the Light", "Africa", "Final Countdown" and "Music". The orchestral arrangements were created with Siggi Schwarz's involvement.
The rock band and orchestra together create a wonderful fusion of sound, dynamics and harmony. The audience will be taken on a journey through rock history with beloved evergreens. Exceptional vocalist Markus Engelstaedter, known for his four-octave vocal range and his interpretations of Queen and Freddie Mercury, combined with Siggi Schwarz's virtuoso guitar playing, makes this format something truly special.
Throughout his career, Siggi Schwarz has collaborated with many rock legends including Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, Scorpions, Foreigner, Toto, Whitesnake, Santana and ZZ Top. He is counted among the most influential German guitarists.

FRANKFURTER SINFONIKER was founded in 1986. The orchestra's musical flexibility and that of its individual members is evident in crossover projects as well as in performances and tours with international stars.
