Meena Cryle and Chris Fillmore have long been among Austria's most renowned exports on the international blues 'n' roots scene. Their performances at festivals across Europe and the USA, as well as in prestigious venues such as the Vienna State Opera, have repeatedly earned standing ovations.

The duo is accompanied by two seasoned musicians: Angus Thomas on bass, who has played with Miles Davis among others, and Lenny Dickson on drums, whose work can be heard on a Tom Waits album, among others.

About the venue: Jazzkeller im Mautnerschloß

The Jazzkeller im Mautnerschloß is a jazz club housed in the historic Mautnerschloß in Burghausen, Bavaria. It serves as one of the main venues for the Burghausen Jazz Festival, one of Europe's longest-running open-air jazz events. The cellar setting gives concerts an intimate atmosphere quite different from the festival's main castle stage.
