Two adult orphans who scrape by as small-time crooks suddenly face a monumental task: their Catholic orphanage is about to be shut down. To raise the missing funds honestly, they reunite their old band and plan a benefit concert.

In black suits, hats, and sunglasses, Jake and Elwood Blues embark on a wild journey across the country. Along their legendary road trip, they not only round up the old band members but also find themselves in hair-raising police chases, encounter cowboys, and reconnect with old flames.

Based on John Landis's cult classic film (1980) and featuring unforgettable music by James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, and many others, audiences can expect a musical bursting with action, humour, and electrifying performances - a show "in the service of the Lord" that captivated audiences in Manfred Ohnoutka's 2024 production.
