The King of Bohemia, caught up in an extramarital affair, turns to the world's most famous detective for help: Sherlock Holmes. Together with his loyal friend Watson, Holmes takes on a highly delicate and dangerous mission - one that soon reveals Professor Moriarty, once the master detective's mentor and closest friend, to be at the centre of it all. Moriarty himself is being pursued by a woman who shakes Holmes's entire worldview to its foundations. Something previously unthinkable happens: the master detective develops feelings. When Sherlock's domineering brother also enters the picture, the case threatens to become the most decisive - and perhaps the last - of his career. A fight begins: life against death, love against ruin.
