Three acts are on the bill at the 31st International Jazz Open-Air Festival 2026:

Gulf of Berlin - a sextet led by Berlin saxophonist Gebhard Ullmann, widely regarded as a cornerstone of European jazz. The ensemble moves between jazz tradition, avant-garde and electronic sound art.

"Nie wieder Urknall - Kleine Naturkunde in drei Akten" - a performance combining spoken word, visual art and improvised music, featuring Chemnitz-based visual artist Osmar Osten, cultural journalist, author and poet Matthias Zwarg, and percussionist Rainer Kleeberg.

Derek plays Eric - a power trio of modern jazz in a classic rock lineup (guitar, bass, drums), roaming the space between Derek Bailey, Eric Clapton, Gentle Giant, John McLaughlin and Charles Mingus.
