31st International Jazz Open-Air Festival 2026 - Cool Jazz on a Summer Evening

The line-up:

- Gulf of Berlin (a sextet led by Berlin saxophonist and European jazz fixture Gebhard Ullmann. A compelling ensemble that blurs the lines between jazz tradition, avant-garde and electronic sound art)

- "Nie wieder Urknall - Kleine Naturkunde in drei Akten" (a performance combining spoken word, visual art and improvised music, featuring Chemnitz-based visual artist Osmar Osten, cultural journalist, author and poet Matthias Zwarg, and percussionist Rainer Kleeberg)

- Derek plays Eric (a power trio of modern jazz. The band uses a classic rock setup - guitar, bass, drums - and roams freely between Derek Bailey and Eric Clapton on one side, and Gentle Giant, John McLaughlin or Charles Mingus on the other)
