Christoph Reuter - "Music Makes You Smart! (Almost Everyone)"
Musical Cabaret
Directed by: Dominik Wagner

In his cabaret programme, Berlin pianist and cabaret artist Christoph Reuter poses some fundamental questions: does Mozart's music really make us smarter - will we finally understand the theory of relativity, or at least our mother-in-law? And why can we never remember the second verse of "O Du fröhliche", but we perfectly recall every stupid remark our colleague made last week? Reuter explores these questions through music by Bach, Mozart, Avicii, and Miles Davis.

The programme shows that each of us is more musical (and perhaps smarter) than we think.

Christoph Reuter won the Thüringer Kleinkunstpreis in 2017 and the Leverkusener Kleinkunstpreis in 2022. For over fifteen years, he has accompanied Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen on piano. In 2025, his second book "Music Makes You Smart! (Almost Everyone)" was published by Heyne Verlag.
