40 YEARS OF FREISING CHAMBER ORCHESTRA - FROM MOZART TO GERSHWIN

In 2026, the Freising Chamber Orchestra celebrates its anniversary in a grand symphonic ensemble. For 40 years, conductor Christoph Eglhuber has shaped the orchestra, which he reformed in 1986. Highlights include the "Fireworks" open-air concerts on Marienplatz, the New Year's concert at the turn of the millennium, and Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro.

Classic meets jazz: the anniversary concert takes listeners on a fascinating musical journey from the 18th to the 20th century. Works by Mozart, Rossini, Schumann, and Gershwin playfully transcend genre boundaries. As the evening's virtuoso soloist, pianist Lukas Kuen from the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra will once again captivate the audience.
