Dead Chic

When dusty Western landscapes collide with soul-drenched rock, the result is the unmistakable sound of Dead Chic. The band, built around vocalist Andy Balcon (known from Heymoonshaker) and guitarist Damien Felix (among others, Catfish), blends dark blues, cinematic rock and soulful intensity into a style they call "Heavy Soul". With drummer Remi Ferbus and keyboardist Mathis Bouveret-Akengin rounding out the lineup, the sound is raw, elegant and explosive all at once.

Dead Chic songs feel like film scores: sweeping imagery, dusty roads, shimmering heat and a voice that moves between sermon and blues lament. Reverb-heavy guitars, driving rhythms and warm organ tones merge into an atmospheric blend of rock, soul and Western aesthetics.

Since forming in 2022, the band has built a strong following through high-energy live shows. Releases like the EP The Venus Ballroom and debut album Serenades & Damnation show just how fresh, powerful and timeless blues and rock traditions can still sound.
