What draws me to this project above all is the sheer variety of colour: harp, winds and strings meet in ever-changing combinations. Ravel and Debussy open up a shimmering, exotic sound world - light and immediately accessible. In Bridge's Sextet these colours deepen into something warmer, more romantic. The music is serious and honest, but never heavy - there is nothing to decode; you can simply let it carry you.
