Chamber music has been part of my life for a long time - it's a world of its own, quite different from playing in an orchestra. I find it genuinely exciting to play with people you don't know that well yet, in our case the other academy members. Haydn and Dvořák are still completely new to me, while I've played Brahms before. I'm especially looking forward to his Sextet. In a quartet you carry the low register alone; in Brahms you share that weight with another player.
