Pangea - BEATLES Tribute Band - Open Air at Sommer am See

In 2011, the Beatles tribute band Pangea earned one of the highest honours a cover act can receive: a performance at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool. Founded in 1992, the four Prague-based musicians have grown into one of the Czech Republic's finest show bands.

Pangea performs several distinct programmes, each with period-accurate costumes. One recreates the early Beatles era - songs like "She Loves You", "Help" and "A Hard Day's Night" in early-60s suits. Another is a dedicated "Sgt. Pepper's"-style show with matching outfits. The third covers the full span of the Beatles' catalogue. Throughout, the musicians play the same original instruments that the four lads from Liverpool used.

Their credits include appearances on Czech TV, a gala evening at the Biathlon World Championship, and multiple appearances at the Beatles Convention in Hamburg. Seeing them live is well worth it - true to their motto: "All you need is LIVE" ;-)
