And honestly - someone who has hosted the Landesschau on SWR for nearly 25 years simply belongs to the region. And there is more. For ten years he presented the afternoon show "Kaffee oder Tee", plus countless reports, live broadcasts and on-location hosting - thousands of programmes that speak for themselves.

But that is only one side of Jürgen Hörig. In recent years he has also made a name for himself as a singer and songwriter. He has released two albums, writes many of the lyrics himself, and has been performing on stages across the country for years. Always by his side: Benny Eisel, whose guitar playing is spellbinding and turns every song into something special. His versatility almost replaces an entire band.
