STEIN-FESTIVAL: "Mozarts Clavierwelt" - Works for 1-4 Fortepianos and 3-6 Hands
Schaezlerpalais, Augsburg, Germany
34 €
The magnificent ballroom of Schaezler Palais in Augsburg will host four original 18th-century instruments: a Stein fortepiano of 1785, an English Stodart grand of 1790, an original Tangentenflügel from the Regensburg workshop of Schmal, a Tangentenflügel from the Schmahl workshop dated 1794, and a two-manual harpsichord by Shudi & Broadwood with a stop-action machine and Venetian swell of 1785.
All these instruments will be heard in a wide range of combinations, performing rare works for keyboard written for 3, 5, or even 6 hands. A singular celebration of 18th-century keyboard sound!
Performers: Sylvia Ackermann, Christoph Hammer, Costantino Mastroprimiano and Olga Pashchenko
