Dark Circus Cabaret - An Immersive Variety Theatre

Dark Circus Cabaret is an immersive variety theatre in the style of 19th and early 20th century vaudeville stages - featuring magic, acrobatics and burlesque. The audience is not merely a spectator: three actors, a magician, an acrobat and a burlesque dancer guide you together through a story where the boundaries between the living and the dead blur.

The story was written by Leipzig fantasy author Christian von Aster, the music composed by Saarland composer Rouven Wildegger Bitz. The concept, artistic direction and staging are by Julian Blomann, artistic director of the Baker Street cabaret stage at the Hirsch in Saarbrücken.
