For 36 years, a ghost has been haunting the music scene - the ghost of slang-punk. It goes by the name Attwenger, refuses to be pinned down, and keeps reappearing in public in its latest form.

What does Attwenger bring this time? "wos", their tenth studio album. The electrified accordion draws air from its surroundings, compresses it and forces it through metallic reeds that vibrate and produce tones, then sends it back out again. Drums and sequencer provide the rhythm - a steadily restless pulse from multiple sound sources.

Many people no longer know how or what. The high-pitched mood creates tension. People are already going at each other. When will society calm down? How will it reach equality? A great wind drives us forward, yet we wanted to make our own move. What sets it in motion - something from within, or from outside?

And even if everyone is glued to their phones, and even if some always find something to complain about: we press on with energetic stances on shifting ground.
