Reading and Talk on Korean Healing Fiction and the Power of the Written Word

Thalia, together with kiwi space publishing, invites you to an evening dedicated to Korean Healing Fiction as part of the Lange Nacht der Literatur. The focus is "Der Briefladen, in dem die Zeit still stand" by Baek Seungyeon - a story about letters that bring comfort, forge connections, and open up new ways of seeing.

There will be a reading from the book, followed by a conversation about the particular appeal of the genre and why publishers are deliberately turning to these quiet, hopeful stories. In keeping with the Month of Letter Writing, participants will then write a letter to their future selves - with time for reflection on the power of words, memory, and fresh starts.
