60 is the new 40, because the best years come after the good ones - something neither the dinosaurs nor the people of Pompeii could claim. Are the best years really sex, drugs and rock and roll? Or more like swimming pools, ice cream and chips?

When he was young, 60 was genuinely old - really old. Today you think: Tom Cruise, Campino, Jim Carrey and Roberto Capitoni are already over 60? Is it thanks to new titanium hips, Viagra or good care from their wives?

Daily countless offers that all end up in the spam folder - from guaranteed weight loss through relief from prostatitis to varicose vein products - don't help Roberto either. Invitations to milestone birthdays decline at the same rate funerals increase. Besides, Roberto Capitoni is soon eligible for train discounts, which for a half-Swabian is rather an advantage. And a daily glance at the pharmacy newsletter or preliminary pension information leaves him oscillating between laughter and despair.

But Roberto wouldn't be Roberto if he didn't have a few simple tricks up his sleeve to look young again. An example? A bungee jump would never make Roberto's bucket list, because he'd be afraid he'd give up the ghost during free fall. But why do such lists usually feature life-shortening activities anyway?

And then there's his Uncle Luigi, who doesn't always help him out. Now and then he gets Roberto into very absurd life situations where things might end sooner than he'd like.
