Die Fischhalle Swingt! - The Swing Dance Evening for Everyone!

On 22 August, Sonja and Ingo from the Hamburg dance school "AttiCat Swing" will get the floor of the Fischhalle moving to swinging hits by Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and more. They kick things off with a Lindy Hop crash course - warming up the dance floor the way it used to burn in the 1930s and 40s at the legendary Savoy Ballroom in Harlem. After that, it's open dancing to the finest swing music spun by DJ Elli The Cat.

Never heard of Lindy Hop? All the more reason to come and give it a go! It's the swing dance - it puts a smile on everyone's face, is popular worldwide, and has a huge, thriving scene. No partner needed, and if you'd rather just watch and listen, that's perfectly fine too.
