About Antonio Andrade
Guitarist, composer, artistic director
Antonio Andrade was born in the heart of Andalusia - in La Puebla de Cazalla, a small village near Seville, deeply rooted in the flamenco tradition. His uncle José Menese, a legend of Cante Flamenco, laid the foundation: the essence and passion of a life devoted to flamenco.
As founder of the Antonio Andrade Flamenco Company, he has presented unforgettable productions on five continents - most recently in May 2026 at the Royal Opera House in Muscat, Oman. A major tour of China awaits him.
Deutsche Oper Berlin. Alte Oper Frankfurt. Konzerthaus Wien. Tokyo International Forum. Joyce Theatre New York. Oriental Art Center Shanghai. Mei Lanfang Grand Theatre Beijing.
Together with his brother Javier Andrade, he founded five theatre houses dedicated exclusively to flamenco: Madrid, Seville, Málaga, Granada and Barcelona.
Antonio Andrade is not an artist who performs flamenco. He lives it.
