The Magic of Operetta - A Viennese Operetta Revue with Soloists, Ballet and Chamber Orchestra

After more than 100 years, operetta still captivates with its unforgettable melodies. Just a few bars are enough to lift the mood - you want to sing, you are simply enchanted by these melodies. That is precisely what the members of the Gala Sinfonie Orchestra from Prague do - with their skill, powerful grace and romantic sensibility, they unleash a true waltz rapture on stage.

Together with internationally renowned soloists - two sopranos, a tenor and the Johann Strauss Ballet - the overwhelming melodic abundance of the most famous operetta composers comes alive. From the wealth of waltzes, marches, mazurkas and polkas, the ensemble has selected the most beautiful pieces and woven them into a unified whole. The repertoire includes titles such as the "Emperor Waltz", "Who Will Marry Us", "Come into the Gondola", "I Am Christel from the Post", "Little Brother and Little Sister", "The Blue Danube", "Can Can", the "Tritsch-Tratsch Polka" and of course the "Radetzky March".

The ensemble includes the long-established and highly renowned Johann Strauss Ballet - an elite company of soloists composed of the most talented dancers from the Prague State Opera. The ballet ensemble has at its disposal an extensive collection of magnificent costumes.
