"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" - a cappella from Byrd and Tallis to Chilcott and Billie Eilish

The Queen's Six from Windsor Castle sing daily in St. George's Chapel and are celebrated by audiences and critics alike with rapturous applause around the world. "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" takes listeners on a musical journey through centuries of secrecy and betrayal. The programme features tracks from the ensemble's forthcoming album, a cappella music evoking the spies of England's Renaissance royal courts, and brand-new arrangements of James Bond songs - works by Byrd, Tallis, Bob Chilcott and Billie Eilish ("no time to die").

The professional ensemble was founded in 2008 to mark the 450th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth I. They perform regularly for the Royal Family at both private and state occasions. At the funeral of Prince Philip in April 2021 and the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022, they sang as part of the St. George's Chapel Choir before an audience of over 4 billion television viewers.
